JENNIFER LOPEZ
Popularly nicknamed J.Lo, Jennifer Lopez is an actress, singer, dancer, and fashion designer. She was born in The Bronx, NY to Puerto Rican parents in July 24, 1969. At age 16, she made her film debut in “My Little Girl.” She left Baruch College after one semester and in 1991, became a dancer on the television show “In Living Color.” She then became a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson. Afterward, Lopez appeared in short-lived television programs and broke into the big screen in the film “Money Train” in 1995. She landed the lead role in 1997's “Selena,” and co-starred in 1998’s “Out of Sight.” In 1999, she released her debut album, “On the 6,” which reached the top 10 of the charts. In 2001, Lopez released “J.Lo,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. In 2002, she released “J to tha L-O!: The Remixes,” which also debuted at number one on the charts and “This Is Me... Then,” which reached number two on the charts. Her follow-up, 2005's “Rebirth,” debuted and peaked at number two on the charts. Lopez is to release her first full Spanish-language album, titled “Como Ama Una Mujer,” in 2007. She is also working on a English studio album. Lopez also owns a clothing line called JLO and Sweetface. In 2002, she opened a Cuban restaurant named Madre's. Lopez also has a perfume called "Glow " which broke numerous records in sales, and "Still." Lopez has starred in feature films such as “Anaconda,” “Enough,” “Maid in Manhattan,” “Shall We Dance?,” “Monster-in-Law,” and more
